We want to extend an invitation for everyone to join us for a tour of the BARO Fresh Market Lighting Showroom. Inside our facilities here in St. Louis, Mo we have created a miniature supermarket with attention to the last detail. From top to bottom, our showroom will make you feel like you are inside a small format, high end grocery store. Actual produce, floral, deli, bakery, liquor and seafood departments, all highlighted with handcrafted signage, have been installed between a beautiful acid stained concrete floor and a professionally painted black open structure ceiling.
By working so diligently to replicate a true market atmosphere we have been able to produce a very valuable presentation tool for not only our unique lighting products but also the BARO lighting design principles. Grocers can stand in our produce department and see firsthand the difference between 2700 Kelvin and 3500 Kelvin on apples or the true value of CRI in fresh food lighting. The showroom allows us to create exact replicas of a specific customer’s merchandising displays so that customer can then make a very educated lighting choice based on sight and actual operation rather than a spec sheet. Our staff has also created an informational seminar covering a range of lighting topics specific to fresh food lighting that is available by appointment.
We held a grand opening on February 28th, 2013 and drew a crowd from throughout the grocery industry and from across the nation. Since then we have added on to house one of our new products the Omega Z1 linear LED. Designed specifically to light grocery aisles with more vertical footcandles and less watts than any previous lighting option, the Omega Z1 now hangs in its own 24 foot stocked aisle split in half.
Whether you are a market owner, a freelance designer or an interested contractor, we welcome you to give us a call and arrange for a personalized tour of our showroom.
